PE-backed buyer
$1M-$5M EBITDA
5-day offer turnaround
How It Works
A clean, fast process built for sellers who want a real answer instead of an 18-month auction.
Share basic financials
Five-minute form. Tax returns or P&Ls for the last three years are enough to get started. We sign an NDA before anything sensitive.
30-minute discovery call
This week, on your schedule. We walk through your operation, your goals, and what a fair offer looks like. No pitch. No pressure.
Written offer in 5 days
Real number, in writing, with our valuation methodology shown. If it works, we move to diligence and close in 60-90 days.
Why Sell Direct
Three reasons SoCal owners come to us instead of listing with a broker.
Save the commission
Brokers charge 10-12% of the sale price as a success fee. On a $5M sale, that is $500,000-$600,000 that goes to the broker instead of your retirement.
Stay confidential
No public listing. No marketing flyers. No tire-kickers requesting your financials. Your employees, competitors, and customers do not have to know until you choose to tell them.
Close faster
Direct deals close in 60-90 days. Brokered processes routinely take 9-18 months because of the listing, marketing, auction, and buyer-pool steps we skip entirely.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you do not see your question here, ask it in the form above. We respond to every inquiry.
How is BizSellDirect different from a business broker?
We are the buyer, not the middleman. Business brokers list your company, run an auction, and collect a 10-12% success fee from the proceeds at close. We buy directly from owners. No listing, no fee, no broker between us and you.
What size businesses do you acquire?
Established Southern California businesses with $1 million to $5 million in adjusted EBITDA, at least three years of operating history, and a management team that can run the day-to-day. We acquire in Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties primarily, but will consider strong businesses with stable management anywhere in the United States.
How long does the process take from first call to closing?
Typically 60 to 90 days. We deliver a written offer within 5 business days of receiving your financials. If the offer works, we move to due diligence, definitive agreement, and close. Brokered processes routinely take 9 to 18 months because of the listing, marketing, auction, and buyer-pool steps we do not need.
Is the conversation confidential? My employees do not know I am considering selling.
Yes. There is no listing, no marketing, no public auction. We require a signed mutual NDA before any sensitive financials change hands. We have closed deals where the seller informed staff only after signing the definitive agreement.
Do I have to leave the business at closing?
No. We expect most owners to stay on for a 6-12 month transition period in their existing role. Many sellers continue in a part-time advisory capacity for 1-3 years after. We are buying a business that runs without you, but we benefit from your relationships and institutional knowledge during the handoff.
How is the purchase price determined?
We pay a market multiple of adjusted EBITDA based on your industry, growth trajectory, customer concentration, and team strength. For most $1M-$5M EBITDA SoCal businesses, that is a 3.5x to 5.5x multiple. We share our valuation methodology openly during the discovery call so there are no surprises.
What happens if we are not a fit?
We tell you within the first call. If your business is outside our criteria or our offer is unlikely to meet your number, we end the conversation respectfully. We do not waste your time and we do not use the information you share. Many owners we decline are still grateful for the clarity.
Ready for a real number?
Five minutes today gets you a written offer within five business days. If we are not a fit, you walk away with clarity instead of an 18-month broker contract.
